SECOND IMPROTANT QUESTION TO ASK REGARDING OUR RELIGIOUS LIBERTY IN HEALTHCARE!
2) State Children's Health Insurance Program (S-CHIP)The 1997 federal State Children's Health Insurance Program (S-CHIP) was created to expand health care insurance coverage to children under 19 whose
parents earn up to 200% of the poverty level. While the major goal of this program is to make health care affordable to working class families, the reality is that millions of dollars from S-CHIP are
being channeled into confidential family planning services that include promoting and providing sterilization, contraception, and abortion services. Teenage females are given applications to sign up for
a CHIP program at schools, family planning services, and social service organizations. Contraceptives and abortions, which now include "drug induced abortion" (RU486 2000), are given without
parent's knowledge or consent. In addition to undermining parental authority, our tax dollars are subsidizing these services, thereby violating the religious liberty and moral convictions of millions of
Americans.
What would you do to restore parental rights in children's health insurance and protect:
Our children's physical and psychological health,
The rights of parents to know what services their children are receiving,
The rights of taxpayers not to pay for promoting and providing morally objectionable service,
The rights of participating health care insurers not to provide morally objectionable services?
